Apple Breakfast Lasagna

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sour cream
  • cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 packages frozen french toast (9 oz each)
  • ½ lb. sliced boiled ham
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can apple pie filling
  • 1 cup granola cereal with raisins.

Method

In a small bowl, blend sour cream and brown sugar.
Chill. Place 6 French toast slices in the bottom of a
greased 12 inch Dutch oven.
Layer ham, 1 1/2 cups cheese and remaining 6 slices of
French toast. Spread apple pie filling on top and
sprinkle with granola.

Bake at 350ºF for 25 minutes (9 coals bottom & 15
top). Top with remaining 1/2 cup cheese and bake 5
minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve with sour
cream mixture.


I used homemade leftover French toast.

It looks strange but it is very good.
