Trim all fat off the beef (as much as you possibly can) Mix Coca Cola and barbecue sauce and chopped onions < Pour marinade on beef and let marinate for 10 hours Put beef and mixture in dutch oven and cook on low for 2 hours or more (2 hours is the min in 16 and just about right in a 14) Salt and Pepper as you like. I use one can of Coca Cola, favorite B-B-Sauce in any amount you like and the same with onions in a 14 or 16 Deep DO. The size of the beef I use touches both sides of the oven and the size of oven depends on how many to feed. Remember that Briskets take a lot of time to cook. Don't get impatient. The meat, when done, will flake with a fork. This is a recipe I saw on a local sport show. |
