Cowboy Beef Stew

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. stew meat
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 2 envelopes brown gravy mix
  • 1 ½ teaspoons seasoned salt
  • 8 carrots, sliced
  • 1 can beef broth
  • 5 cups water
  • ½ cup minute tapioca
  • 8 potatoes, diced
  • 2 onions, chopped

Method

Brown stew meat in flour in a 12" Dutch oven. Add potatoes, carrots and onions Cover and cook until meat is tender and vegetable are done. May be cooked on a gas grill or in 350 degree coals. Use 10-12 coals on bottom and 18-20 on top.
