Peach Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup margarine
  • 1 29-oz. can sliced peaches
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 ½ teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons baking cocoa

Method

Cream sugar and margarine together. Add eggs and stir. Add peaches and juice. In a sepearte bowl combine all the other ingredients. Add the dry mix to the wet mixture. Stir well. The batter will be very lumpy. Pour into a 14" greased Dutch oven and bake in 350 degree coals for 35-40 minutes or until top springs back when touched. Cool and serve with whipped cream.
