Rob's Sweet Chilli

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ Pounds of Hamburger (Browned)
  • 1 Pound of Bacon (Cut into bite sized pieces then cooked)
  • 1 28 oz can of Home Style Baked Beans
  • 2 15 oz cans of Pork and Beans
  • 1 14 oz can of Kidney beans (large red)
  • 1 14 oz can of "Other bean" we throw in a different bean every time this time it was butter (lima) beans.
  • 2 14 oz cans of Stewed tomates Italian Style
  • in a seperate bowl mix
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup cider vinegar
  • ¼ BBQ sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground mustard

Method

After browing the meat and bacon, throw everything in the pot, I let it simmer.
I usually wait for 1-2 hours usually, it produces something much thicker as most of the liquid will steam out. But saturday we served it after 30 minutes and it turned out fine.

We cooked this at the Spring Convention, we had enough requests for the recipe that we started telling people we would just post it online.

We cooked it slightly different that normal, this is the version I cooked on saturday
